@Gotno is a sober fishaholic too!

I love this thread already!

I have been grinding crab gear mostly lately.

We are 95% ready. It’s looking like it’s going to open on Dec. 1st.

It hasn’t been announced yet, but the test came back and the crab are ready for harvest.

I went on a Cod trip last week ,but I took a break from filming that trip. I have nothing recent to add.

Here’s my latest YouTube video. This was filmed on Oct. 9th.

i have fractured my back before. It hurt so bad. I hope you have a speedy recovery!

The first time life ever made any sense to me was on the river.

I hope you can get back out there ASAP.

Ya this has been miserable I had a severe burst fracture and the vertebrae blew out into the spinal canal.i broke it in 2 spots I’m grateful I can walk and this changed my life I’ve been 22 days sober off everything and have zero desire to use the thought repulses me so alot of good has come from this humbled me as well.the surgery was miserable.the pain was so bad you get dizzy and want to puke.i had l3 to l5 fused there letting the l1 heal on its own i went to the surgeon yesterday it’s shifted a little he didn’t seem overly concerned gonna check again in 2 weeks if it keep moving I’ll need another surgery I pray it heals on its own I can’t go threw another surgery like this.im numb from the butt down the nerve pain has been bad but it’s getting better praise God and feeling is coming back the legs are still very numb to the touch.they said 6 months for total recovery

I was down for three months. On light duty for another six. I was really lucky. Four wheeler accident. When I felt my back pop and the pain I was scared. I could wiggle my toes, but I didn’t dare to move.

I fractured two vertebrae. 3rd and 4th one up.

It healed, I no longer feel it, but I did for a few years. it happened in 2005. I was in recovery at the time. I didnt relapse. I let the doctor know. it was hard not using powerful opiates. I was really tempted.

I’m not to sure what happened yet I’ll have to investigate when I can but when I woke up and tried to move the pain was excruciating going from my back all the way down to my toes I’ll called my mom to come get me but when she pulled up so did the police n were like what are you doing she told him cop found me then called the ems took 6 guys to haul me out the woods.they left me for 2 days without painkillers I begged them to put me to sleep they wouldnt lol this whole experience has sucked to say the least but so many positives came from it that made me a better person and brought me closer to God so I’m glad it happened.i did have a very good orthopedic surgeon so I’m very blessed or I’d be way worse off

Damn! You have been going through living he’ll.

I wore a back brace. I didn’t have to get surgery. I was going up a steep hill on a powerful machine I hadn’t ever been on before. Trying to keep up with a co worker.

I flipped backwards and stopped the four wheeler from smashing me with my legs.

Doctors said I came very close to snapping my back in two.

They started me off with morphine. I stopped that on the 2nd day. I liked it way to much and could see where that was going.

I took percocet for a week and cut it to 800 MG ibuprofen after that.

I’m sorry your going through all of this. Your young. Thats good for healing quickly too.

Your positive attitude is awesome!
