I’m with you on the couldn’t put a gun to my head and make me take them. Completely! Never again!
I still have a lot of mental health issues, but I have a lot of acceptance and am always actively trying to make then better. The medication rollercoaster is a long one for me. Having patience and working hard are helping me tremendously.

I was on and off benzos for about 10 years. The last time I was on them was about 2 years ago and that went on for about 5 years on Klonopin 3mg a day. I’ve went through 4 withdrawals in the past 10 years each was a horrible experience. When I was about 19 I stopped tgem cold turkey because I didn’t know anything about them. I bought them iff the street. But Klonopin was prescribed to me.I know what you mean when you say some things may never be back to normal but it could just be the symptoms of PAWS. I kbow they have definitely changed me I always feel anxious but then again it could just be the PAWS from other addictions I’ve had.
