Anymous People is about how recovering addicts are and through policy changes in the past learned to not speak up and be ashamed of their struggles.
I found it on Kanopy Library media streaming here in Kansas City Missouri.
I’m wrestling with my sobriety and with being an out spoken activist.

I just watched about 2 hours of clips on utube. "Alcohol kills you " liked that. And while I was there I watched several personal stories made on utube. Tell me any you find and recommend

Check out the kindness diaries, really brought me to a great place during early recovery

I love that show! They have even covered relapsing and worse. Impressive for a comedy.

Less Than Zero is a really good movie about the struggles of addiction, with a young Robert Downy Jr. I can’t say it fully encourages sobriety, but it definitelly shows the downside of falling too deep.

Also Why Stop Now with Jesse Eisenberg and Tracy Morgan is good too. Not sure if it’s still on Netflix, but thats where I found it.

There is a documentary on Netflix called The Truth About Alcohol. A doctor undergoes medical tests to gauge the damage is own drinking is doing to his body and then goes through some tracking of his own drinking. In the end, people are going to do what they’re going to do (which is basically his conclusion) but the documentary is very interesting.
