It said it meant Rabbit. I was always skeptical, then about a year ago my colleague from China confirmed that it does indeed say Rabbit. But no, it’s now my sign.

My only one of five tattoos that I like. Long story short… my dad passed away when I was 19, liver cirrhosis, alcoholic his whole life. He was out of my life since I was 13, with the exception of funerals and occasional bump into each others at the local convenience store. When I was cleaning out his apartment after he passed I found a couple journals from his time in rehab. The first page that he mentioned my name, had this little doodle at the top of the page with my name next to it. Weird thing was, I used to doodle palm trees all the time, they covered every notebook I had from high school, I was obsessed with them for years for no apparent reason, but my dad would have had no way of ever knowing that about me.

Thanks for the likes. I’m sure you will all get the meaning, where others may not. I am now proud to not have to wear jumpers in 90 degrees to hide scars because people can now look at The tattoo instead. I don’t have to be hot and uncomfortable like I have for the last 24 years. So thank you for the reassurance and confidence boost. Lots of love to you lovely fabulous people.
