That sounds great! Congratulations for these 40+ years. I can only second that it gets easier after some time. For me it was the 100 day milestone after which it was getting much easier

That’s not you talking it’s the addiction.
I did it myself, I remember resigning to the idea that I am a drunk and I’ll just resign to that fact am die.
But now I’m years sober. Don’t ever give up, never give up. Fight for your life.
