Today is 420 a pot holiday in the USA

Here I am in weed legal Massachusetts with money and I don’t even crave to be out smoking pot
I don’t know why 420 is a weed holiday
Kinda stupid I think.
It exosts me just thinking of smoking.

I have no need or desire to smoke pot.

I wouldnt bring this up but I’ve been smoking pot for almost 19 years with only 7 days without pot but over the years I’ve always skipped 420 because of wanting to be sober

It’s quite here today. I cut off all my buddies for deciving me. I don’t regret it. If anyone shows up except this 1 sober friend, they are getting the boot

I remember a few years ago when a bunch of people would always show up starting at like, 7 in the morning till a random time. It was terrible. I can see it now. I feel anxiety just thinking about about the amount of negative people that would show
I can still hear the loudness coming from the kitchen and person after person showing up. That’s where drugs and alcohol brought me.

Today I’m just laying as low as possible

You and me both! I smoked weed everyday for 18 years. I am sober now for 8 months and 10 days. I have lost “friends” because I quit smoking. But, I am the only one who can pass a drug test now!

Isnt 420 a weed holiday because thats the cop code for a possession charge idk thats what i heard fuck it. Sober life is 1000x better than getting loopy and paranoid and unproductive

Thank you for this post! I’ve been an all day everyday smoker for years…I’m on day 27 of no weed and it’s been great! I’ve had no desire to “celebrate” today! Luckily when friends realized i was serious about quitting they respected that and have had no offers to smoke today. We are much better without it!
