Intro: to those who don’t know me, my name is Dan. I am from the pacific northwest (near Seattle). I’ve been sober since September 2018. I am married with 4 kids ranging from baby age to early 20s. I like camping, hiking, traveling and everything to do with music.

I have had many “best” friends at different times in my life. Some have moved away and we lost touch. Others we talk every once in a while, but not matter how much time has passed, its like we were never apart. That’s the best kind of friendship!
I’ve done some pretty rotten things to people that love and care about me. I wish I’ve never done those things. Its so easy to say, well, I was in active addiction, but I knew it was wrong, and that hurts the most; I chose to do it.
Because of that, forgiveness cannot be given, it has to be earned. I haven’t earned it yet, but I hope that someday I will.
All elected officials are voted in “American Idol” style. They will be on a weekly competition show and the people will vote by text. Vote early, vote often.
That method seems to work.
Also higher education is available to everyone, paid by taxes!
We have been together for 24 years but only married 7 years ago, because I wasn’t sure she was the one - thats the joke I tell people. That’s also the joke my wife hates.
Actually, we did the whole life thing backwards, kids first, then house, then marriage.
Sometimes, you just know. You know? She laughed at my jokes and I laughed at hers. That right there is pure magic!
