Good news… Its 9.30am and the little buddy has already come up to visit twice! I woke up at 9am and opened my window and it flew straight up to me 
I feed it little apple bits. I think it might have babies in a nest on my roof or somewhere close coz it kept flying off with its mouth full of apple bits then flying right back in 10 seconds. I’ve a feeling that its taking the food back to the nest.
Anyway so I was reading my book and my back was against the window coz my bed is like a sunbed kinda situation against the window, so I read every morning here with the window open… So my back was against the window then all of a sudden … BOOP!! he popped up on the window and did not get a fright that I was there, he proceeded to book around next to me talking at the top of its lungs lol…
I think this is the Start of a new chapter of the baby birdie thread my friends!
I’m trying to save money to move into a bigger apartment… How in the world am I going to be able to leave here when all these birds befriend me so oh so adoringly leaving Me too attached to leave them lmao

So just now I could hear what I thought sounded like water splashing outside the window… I stuck my head out and what did I see? The new little boop down in the bathing station in the garden In the new bath I made them, splashing about joyously with so much excitement!! It LOVESSSS the new bath!
I almost teared up watching him because he was so so happy and knowing that my little bath project is loved by him makes me so happy !
Who woulda guessed that the thing to bring me the most joy in sobriety would be a tiny tiny bird

8pm late night snack… They are coming for a last minute feed now a lot because the sun does not set till late now… And they know my work shedule which is funny

these two are an old married couple… There so comfortable with me that they hang out and preen each other after they finished there dinner its so cute to watch. There so in love!!

I know right so cute. I’m obsessed with there feet because ultimately there feet are there hands and when I’m playing with them and we play “Shakey foot” thats where I’ve trained them to shake my hand before they get food when I say shakey foot
There so smart that now a few of them already k know how to get food off me so that they put there foot out and shake my hand before I’ve even said it and if I don’t automatically give them an almond, they death stare me then shake my hand again but with more conviction lol
Last night was strange , I had ten of them turn up at 8.45pm… That’s very out of character for them to turn up that late… They were all manic hypo and in the most playful moods… There was a big storm coming and the sky was a strange color, very dark and end of the world type gloomy… I think they all were reacting to the sky… It was very interesting to watch seeing them so in touch with the earths behavior

They probably thought the world was ending and had to get their last bit of food. Ok maybe not ending but they knew a storm was comin and they had to fill their bellies before hunkering down. Not knowing how long it would last, they were worried they’d miss breakfast.
Those hand shakes for food is amazing. What smart lil feathered friends. Food rewards are the best training techniques for all species (including us humans).

The pigeons definetly appreciate the feeding station
I did alot of research Into pigeons and they are phenomenonlly smart animals… They get a bad rap but they are sweet and beautiful

I think there might be something wrong with lil Mr floofy… As soon as he arrived he waddled straight up into the corner and was behaving out of character. He had no energy. He constantly was fighting off falling asleep. He could hardly hold the almond… I hope he is just tired.
I checked his body and feet for war wounds or gashes etc, he seemed fine, no visual damage… Maybe he has just had a big day flying and was sleepy lol
