I watched ‘Beautiful Boy’ last night for the first time, and it’s still on my mind today. What a gripping, heart-wrencing, amazingly-performed film! I’m curious, to others who have seen it, would you recommend it for teens to watch?

Yes. I watched it a couple of weeks ago. Great movie. I read both books. Nothing wrong with teens watching it IMO. Steve Carrell was brilliant.
For me it really hit home.

My teens are the ones who told me to watch it. They no longer have restrictions at 17 and 18. Great movie, good chance to have frank discussions.

Yes, highly recommend the book as it shows different struggles in Nick’s relationship with other members in his family and friends.
