So i am 3 days sober from alcohol. Im 2 years sober from drugs.
But i had a friend who said they been wanting to get sober bc she an alcoholic at such a young age. Well last night shes like i got drunk and i was upset a bit but what really made me upset is when she said im 25 give me a break…
Now they are the type of person who drinks everyday and gets black out drunk.
I guess this is a one way trip, cant rely on anyone one else.

Hey Caroline, welcome! If you choose to be friends with people who are drinking it might be really hard not to judge them but from my experience that’s the best way to deal with it. I use the mindset of what’s mine is mine and what’s not mine is not mine. It’s your journey not theirs and their journey is not your journey.
Bonus: it’s also a great way to deal with jealousy
