So I’ve been talking about the job at ACR Health for quite a while. Well today I accepted an offer to become a care manager. I will share more about this as time goes on, but basically I will be advocating for, and working with, HIV/AIDS patients, addicts, homeless and people with mental health issues. I will be doing street outreach and taking services to wherever they may live.
I could not have gotten anywhere near this job without God, AA/NA and all my friends here.

WOW @Englishd you will change their lives! And they will most definitely change yours, too. Can’t think of a better qualified person for the position, then a recovering alcoholic. We see, hear & sense things that others can’t or won’t. Plus, we tend to treat everyone as if they were an alcoholic (not literally, lol) but we know & appreciate that everyone has a story, struggle & a strength ~ that compassion & wisdom will always serve you well.
