My son just text me his mom is saying he should go to a boarding school. She text me that he is doing nothing at his schoolwork. Can write a long story about it, but it basically comes down that she pushes a lot (for years now). Resulting in co-dependency dynamics and I geuss she’s kind of narcistic. It’s no rocket science that his reaction is to do nothing, since in her eyes he wil never do good enough. I just wanna get him out of that place, it kills me inside right now 
. It’s that powerless feeling, now going to my tennistraining. Hopefully the balls can take my fury…but damn in the past I would be surely drinking by now.

on the flip side, a boarding school might be a great prep for university and will help push forward the trajectory of his academia.
