Binge eating recovery daily check in thread (Part 3)

Good day to you my friends. I follow this thread daily. I have mentioned this is not a huge struggle for me but I empathize with you all. I feel your frustration for those that are struggling. I love all the knowledge from you who are succeeding in your goals. Growing up (ya I am old) they use to say you are what you eat. Trying to eat all Real Food fresh when you can get it has always been the best option for me. I am fortunate to love to cook and bake and use the healthiest ingredients.

Keep trying my struggling friends and big shout out to those who continue to share their successes here.

@StacyAnn I love egg salad. It’s a delicious way to add protein! Chicken is great too, we usually go for chicken breasts when making chicken salad. One of my new favorite healthy meals is dense bean salad, you add beans, corn, your favorite veggies, a dressing, rice or quinoa (I used quinoa for mine because it gives more fiber and protein.) stir it all up and you have a healthy meal for the week. :blush:

I’ve read over your message a dozen times or more and copied its format into a note on my phone and began to make an extensive plan based on your recommendations and I’ve spent the better part of today getting those things in order to try to set myself up for success :light_blue_heart: thank you so much for the time you took to read and respond to my post! Very glad my comment was helpful. I understand the feelings of embarrassment and such, and also: If it was easy it wouldn’t be an addiction.

Hi everyone! So i ate fairly well today… yay!! Not the best but i wouldnt say that i binged. I did get prescribed a new medication by my Dr to help with my weight. The previous med stopped working. It was suggested i go on a much higher dose but i couldnt afford it at that dose. Anyway, she prescribed a med that apparently helps with BED! So im curious to give it a try. Ill be starting it tmrw. Hope this helps a little bit :slight_smile: Anyway, thank u all for ur support!

Today was actually a success! Im on the lowest dose possible and found that my appetite was supressed already. I had a salad for lunch and didnt overeat on it :slight_smile: Supper was what i would consider to be a “normal” amount of food… so that for me is a win!! Thank u for the support :slight_smile:
