So finally, I have my first therapy session booked for Czech Christmas Day :sweat_smile: 24.12. at 2pm. I am looking forward to it, I am scared, I am nervous, I am not sure…all at once. But I believe that I will be fine :folded_hands:t3:

Currently, I feel a bit lost. Not only about food but in general. Like I don’t even know who I am, what I like, what I want in life. Maybe that’s why I binge because I have no identity. I really don’t know. I wish I could just put my head to sand and disappear and come back when I have answers.

Sometimes in the process of trying to find your way, perhaps you kinda lose your way, but it could also just be the season here..

One day at a time. In your mind try to think of that which is important to you. And keep that close

Exciting about the therapy. I’ll be very interested to hear what you think of it and hopefully you will get some benefit from it.

Good morning Jana, I am so happy to hear these good news! I wish you the best experiences! Therapy can be an amazing safe space where you can open up.

Uncertainty is hard to accept. Sometimes I like the thought that I can still rely an my values: kindness, courage, love - these don’t disappear when things are unclear. And it always helps to know: uncertainty changes; it doesn’t stay fixed.

You don’t have to figure everything out today. Just take ODAAT, be there for yourself gently :purple_heart:

I got some experiece with therapy. If there are any questions or issues you want to talk about to feel less scared, I“m here to talk!

57 days smoke free 36 days binge eating free, 5 days sugar free.

I am not so happy with the food choices I made the last week. It was a tough week with a lot of challenging situations. I feel some ground under my feet again, so I can focus on better food choices again. Maybe it helps to plan my food for the day, so let“s go:

Today, I plan to have oats for a late breakfast, a sandwich for lunch and steamed vegetables with quinoa for dinner. Sometimes I need some snacks during the day, that will be walnuts today.

I’ve been thinking about why I had to reset my sugar timer again and I’ve noticed that my bigger issue right now is my snacking behavior. Snacking outside of main meals is a trigger for the persistent food noise in my head and for the urge for eating sugar.

So, I`m changing my no sugar timer to a no snacking timer. That will be easy during the day, evenings are my typical snacking time. So my focus will clearly be on not giving in in the evenings anymore. I know I only have to get through a few days, and then it will become much easier.

I completed my first 24 hours without snacking. Must say, it was a good decision. Didn’t have much sugar today either, because it’s almost always connected to snacking.
