Binge eating recovery day 3 : No binge today. :)

No binge today. Feeling great. Played with my cat Buster today. He purrs like a lawnmower when he gets any kind of attention and he also firmly believes he is a dog.

Great job! What has been helpful for you so far with not engaging in binge eating?

Thank you! I have a cat named Kelly, she keeps me grounded when I feel stressed. I also make sure I eat enough because restricting is my biggest trigger. I aim to eat a balance of protein, carbs and fat. This keeps me satisfied so my binge urges don’t bother me as much. I also do jewelry and draw or animate to keep me busy. Meditation helps a bit as well.

All of that sounds like amazing ideas to stay present and to self care. I’ve also had success in a balanced meal plan without cutting anything out, for helping with my binge eating too. I’m really proud of you!!
