Me!! Bipolar 2…the depressed type. I was diagnosed in college. It explained alot. But my mental health has been much improved since getting sober!

i am hoping that getting sober makes a difference. i just found out my mom has cancer and it’s pretty bad so i’ve been using as a coping mechanism.

when does it get easier

For me, it got easier when i stopped drinking, went to AA meetings, got a sponsor, worked the 12 steps, talked with my doctor and continued to take my medication needed for my mental health. I have to do these things to take care of me.
It does get better.
