Hello Sober peeps….welp on day 2 here. Anyone have any good tips on keeping my mouth busy? LOL. When I don’t drink I tend to run to the panty. I’m going to go to the store today and try and stock up on some healthy snacks but I’m always open to suggestions on a favorite. Trying to stay away from the processed garbage too. TIA

Buying healthy snack options is a good start. Your body is going to crave sugar when you cut out alcohol because there is a TON of sugar in alcohol. so try not to be to hard on yourself right now if you allow yourself some sugary treats as a reward for not picking up a drink then do it. I discovered that there is a huge amount of sugar in everything. so I am also trying to avoid sugar or at least less sugar.
my go to snacks are nuts but I still like a dish of ice cream

Fruit for your sugar withdrawals and a gallon of water a day for your hydration. You won’t be bored, you’ll be peeing alot in the beginning but your body will acclimate to actually being healthy and you’ll feel a million times better!
