My favorite change in 4 years is the moments of peace and contentment. I wish it was a constant state but thats the addict in me 
I think thats what i had been chasing for so many years in addiction. I thought i was running from sadness towards happiness only to find i needed to let go and surrender to find freedom within.

I remember your beginning posts and your first days going forward, your challenges along the way, your continued success and striving to do your best, good and bad days .. I remember your first days of starting the couch to 5K, concentrated and successful weight loss, while maintaining your sobriety, your marriage, and your commitment to continue to get the help that you need and help others.
You are a huge inspiration for so many and for so many reasons!

It’s made me so happy watching you transform your whole life into the sober young warrior you are today. It’s fucking amazing I wish I could remember the first day I met you here; but, I do know it was at your very beginning. I’ve been pulling for you since day 1. And holy crap! You’ve been killing it ever since. I’ve always loved your style on here. And I feel right at home when I follow you on the gratitude thread. You’ve help me so much by being here.

I didn’t realize we had similar stories where our spouses were our drinking buddies. That sure is a scary change of dynamic. I hope your road is a bit smoother than mine was. My road is pretty smooth now though.

Wow!!! Beautiful post!!! I truly couldnt be happier for u my friend. Uv come SUCH a long way from when u first started here on TS. Its inspiring to me to see how much youve changed in all ways, by working the steps and staying clean and sober. Knowing that I too can hopefully gain that freedom from all things by working the steps as well (which I am doing now). So im truly, truly inspired by u!!!
