Honestly today was an incredibly mundane day, got rained out from working, ended up just spending the day not doing much of anything… a lot of the times days like this make me incredibly restless so I try to fill my time with anything productive.. read a little, play some games, cook some food… intrusive thoughts still come anytime my hands are idle enough to let the devil creep into my brain.. but having this much clean time for the first time in 14 years gives me even more motivation to keep pushing!! 500 days has a really nice ring to it and I cant imagine what my life might be like with 1000 days clean!! But for now I am trying to make every day count, even if a lot of the times it feels like I havent accomplished much of anything I think sometimes it is easy to forget how much of an accomplishment any given day sober really is. Hoping anyone else out there struggling with addiction had a good or at least not terrible day today as well. <3
