Do we celebrate small milestones? Today marks 28 days sober from cocaine and I’m still struggling but on Wednesday it will be 30 days and I could be more ecstatic. I truly didn’t think I was gonna make it to 30 days with how many times I have tried to restart on a Sunday or even restart on a new month coming into the new year. I wanted to make sure that I took my sobriety serious and it’s been very hard on me especially being surrounded with people that still use, but I am managing. I feel mentally clear my anxiety has dissolved and I’m starting to understand what I look like when I was using and that’s not how I want people to view me as a person anymore. Well, that being said Wednesday will be 30 days sober and I feel like I should celebrate in a way. ![]()
Every day sober is worth celebrating! Happy 28! ![]()
Absolutely celebrate small and big wins. We work hard every day, that is worth acknowledging!!
Yes, we most certainly do celebrate small milestones! They are the most important of all because you can’t have big milestones without them!
Congratulations on four full weeks! This is a massive milestone and should be celebrated. Why not get yourself a little one-month sobriety memento? Keep it in your pocket, and it’s always there to remind you of how far you have come.
Be mindful of friends/acquaintances using while around you. Dont let them drag you down now that you are finding the real you. We ALWAYS have to be wary.
You ABSOLUTELY should celebrate ur 30 days!! Thats a HUGE achievement. In fact, at 12 step meetings, they actually give out clean day chips for 30, 60, 90 days, 6 & 9 months, 1 year, 18 months, and every year after that
Theres a reason behind why these chips are given out at these times, but i cant remember why that is lol Anyway, Im excited for ur 30 days on Wed. Stay strong and take it one day at a time!
