Made it to 1 month no alcohol! 12 days without pot. Feeling so proud. Went to a super bowl party and didnt drink. I even had someone try to hand my pot and I said no even though I wanted it so badly. Feeling strong tonight

day 93 no alcohol day 53 no weed or tobacco. Didn’t win the lottery this weekend so Monday is the same old old Monday. it wouldn’t change me if I did win, I would just get a lay in.
New Monday, new week, new goals. Have a bearable day all you sober warriors of the world.

Yesterday night had a on line AA meeting that was very good for my mood. I found a new friend and we had a very good conversation together .

Urgh, had an annoying voice in the back of my head ALL day today, “You could drink today, no work tomorrow,” didn’t even WANT to drink, just the possibility niggling at me. Was really glad to get my daughter and come home, so I am not going past convenience stores selling booze.

In my world it’s another grey day but I’m free from work, I woke up well rested, clean and sober, the plumber will be here soon (I hope) to unplug the sink, after that I think I’ll go to the gym and to Rijksmuseum. Cook some good food. Have some quality me time. Feeling good today. Have a good sober and clean week friends. Thanks so much for being here all. Clean and sober love from my balcony.

Day 145
Not a good night sleep at all. My youngest daughter is struggling again. We tweaked her meds last week and it’s backfiring. So we’re going backwards now. She didn’t sleep last night because of the new meds so she’ll miss school again. STRESSES ME OUT. And then here I am about to try to go to work on 6 hrs of sleep. That’s not enough for me. I need a good 7-8 hours. I’ll make it but I won’t like it. And apparently I’m allergic to all of Texas at the moment. I’ve felt awful the last week or so - sneezing, watery eyes, stuffy nose, headaches, fatigue. I finally looked at the allergy data and it’s been extremely high for tree pollen the last week. I’m miserable. BUT I’M SOBER!!
@Ifs I know you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed by how intense the program is and you’re tempted to give up but I encourage you to keep going. It seems to me from this side of the screen that you’re making huge steps in the right direction. All this work WILL pay off. Praying you have the strength and endurance to keep going!
