Day 92 Day 0

Have added a new addiction of binge eating, and joined a free video series. I am feeling so mentally and even physically distressed regarding food. To be honest, drinking and food issues have always been linked, would not eat to get drunk quicker, then use the hideous hangover as a way to not eat for a couple of days. Now I don’t have those episodes, eating issues are prominent. I have had no alcohol resets on this app (I did on a different app, and a fb group) but the resets for eating are going to be a shitstorm I feel. Maybe it will provide insights.

Hey I had really bad anger problems as well. It was the alcohol. I thought alcohol made it go away, but it didn’t actually I was just either in a good mood. Or the alcohol made me feel good enough for a lil bit. But if I was drunk and something angered me. Shit was going down, I would flip. And first the first I’m gonna say like 10 of sobering up I was extremely agitated and angry. And made a few more days after, but now at 47 days, I barely have any anger at all now. Just give you’re mind and body some time to adjust, it’s gonna get better promise. And I see a therapist as well and she has helped me with alot of stuff. God grant me the serenty to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Say it over and over. We tend to let things we cannot change bother us untill we blow up. Be gentle on youreself man and congrats on 5 days

Thank you.

Well done on your day 3, it’s tricky in these early stages but your doing great, stick with what’s working and if it takes a pandemic to keep us clean and sober we were definitely in a bad place. Be strong.

I practice “mind over matter”: If I don’t mind, It don’t matter.

Works great for dealing with insipid people as well.

it’s done now and we’re both back at it, if we add our days together it’s nearly a week sober, sounds better already. :grinning:
