2 days 10 hours sober woke up late today after my wife took dogs out for the morning walk sharing the walks and the lieins. Well when I awoke I hadn’t opened my eyes I could hear the TV on and I’m not joking I felt like I had a hangover! My head felt sore mouth felt dry and bad taste in it I had to think it I had drank. Anyway I got out of the wake up haze and my wife appeared and it was lovely she had written a note that was beside me on the bed, I wont share its personal and beautiful. I had breakfast and the feeling shifted. Ain’t it strange how u can feel that way…any who today I’m off to meet my good friend who I havent seen for 8 weeks due to covid19 lockdown I’m in uk so I can now see her outside 6ft apart I’ll take it. Peace out friends

I love you lady. Like @liv_m said, you ARE deserving of this and are such a beautiful person. Don’t give up! You CAN do this. Seriously, reach out anytime you need to, you are worthy of this sober life and all the good things it has to offer. We’ve got to let the shit go that isn’t working or good for us to make room for some good to come in. Hugs to you!

Looking forward to a couple sports starting back up today. Happy to wake up sober and feel a freedom from the constraints of alcohol.

This Sunday morning marks day 6 in my struggle to overcome self abuse and neglect thru bad habits and negative thinking. I focus on NOW. I am good. Beautiful day!

Alcohol free, 22 days. Spent a lovely day at the beach with my neices and brother/ sis in law.
Also, I haven’t really been keeping track of the days, but also sober from my relationship/love addiction. 319 days! I did have one minor slip up (which was the weekend I became alcohol-free) but didnt feel it warranted a reset based on what occurred.
