Checking in daily to maintain focus #15

Day 558: I’m so excited today! I’m meeting up with 3 friends that I’ve know since elementary school (roughly 1985) to ride bikes along the beach. This is how gratitude for sobriety manifests itself. I couldn’t be doing this when I was drinking.

Day 358. Staying on the grind, switched up my macros, so we’ll see how this new diet and program work. Today’s my three year anniversary, so we’re getting tacos from the first place we went as a couple. Solid day all around.

The gym gods shined down on me, and notified me of a kettlebell restock from Rogue…so, rather than paying $175+ on eBay, I snagged a brand new 53lb/24kg for >$100 w/shipping!

Have a strong day!!!

Late second check in. My weekend just started and I really needed to have a bike ride after work to get rid of some pent up frustrations and stress and tension. It worked pretty well. I might be depressed but that didn’t rob me of all my energy. And I hope the physical exertion will make me sleep a good sleep tonight. At the moment cycling is my therapy. That and coming here. Thanks for being here all. It helps. A lot. Have a good night friends. Sober and clean. Love from the Dutch dunes.

Today was a good day. I discovered I’m at the early phases of a Netflix addiction.
My sad period seems to have passed already, so yay. I am happy again, I’m back to being helpful again, not on my previous level, but every step forward is a step forward.
I cycled 60 km/40 miles today to save my mom some money on public transit.
Had a check-up on my feet and they seem to be improving. Not in any pain or anything, but preventing pain for when I get older.
So a great day all in all

Day 29. Did a thorough of my kitchen today which kept me busy and left me satisfied. Family is away so I’m enjoying being in a quiet house for once. Just chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool. :sunglasses:

Yeah, signing on to maintain my focus for the 36th day of my sobriety. Changes at work are always a cause for concern, but my day 36 will dawn glorious and free.
