Checking in daily to maintain focus #17

I mean, it will grow back, lol… Does she REALLY want you to? It might be sweet, :relaxed:
My husband used to grow it starting in October and shave somewhere around March; I used to love when I’d come home and he’d have a clean face!!

Also; with a face like that, you can carry it off easily!

I’m getting some things that have been hanging over me checked off my “To Do” list today. I haven’t done much of anything for the last couple weeks, so it feels good to make some headway and gain some momentum. Enjoying the current motivation.

Hi everyone, just a quick message to say hello and to check in. I’m about an hour away from my 8-day mark, so my 10-day “goal” isn’t far… then a fortnight, then a month… I’m not looking too far ahead of that, one day at a time and all that.
Well, I seems that I may be “stuck” in Brussels for longer than anticipated. My two-day assignment here (i.e. today and tomorrow) may get extended through all of next week… though I hope not, to be honest. However, if I go home to Switzerland tomorrow after work as planned, I won’t be able to come back on Sunday if the customer decides that it wants me to, since I’ll have to go into a mandatory “self-isolation” for 10 days !! As such, I may just have to stay here. The fact that I had only brought enough clothing etc. is kind of annoying, but, it’s not as though Brussels is lacking places where I can buy some socks and underwear ! I really would prefer to go home, to be honest… but the money is good, so if they ask me to stay… then stay I shall.
Goodnight all, I hope that everyone has a happy and sober night.

Without saying it, yes. However, she said its up to me. The whole thing came up on why did I have a beard and why do I like it long. Long story…well…probably long… I started growing the beard for a friend. A college friend was a Marine Officer. He had cancer, and because of treatment couldnt shave. Being a good Marine, this bothered him. So a bunch of us started growing beards as well, for him. When he died, I kept mine…

She was talking about the possibility of having cancer. Jokingly she said, “wouldnt it be sweet if you ahave your head if my hair falls out, oh thats right you are bald”. Her joke made her snort laugh.

Anyway…so then we talked about length, and I told her I hadnt trimmed it since the last day I drank. Which, she couldnt remember it being that short, so i showed her the above picture. I asked her what length she prefered, and she said she liked the shorter beard…“but that is my decision to make”…but I could see she really liked it short.

So, I think I might shorten it for her. If worse case scenario happens…and we find out she has cancer…and if treatment makes her hair fall out like she mentioned…then I will shave it off completely.

Like I said…long story…long

Checking in guys! Day 27
Googled “Hardest yoga poses” and I have some work to do. I was feeling very repetitive in my practice so this week I am working on mastering the Salamba Shirshasana also known as headstand. No, I am not even close. Have a great day yall!
Oh yeah cravings have passed. Phew that was tough 6 days but I am past all that now. New beginnings!
