I am fucking thankful for all of you on here.
Im an addict and every time I think I canāt do it, you beautiful people tell me the reasons why I can.
The rollercoaster ride took me up high and I felt like I was dangling at the topā¦ Another day sober, another day where I can say fuck you gremlin, not today even when its so dam hard!!!

Day 24. Still waiting for Covid results. Iām just laying in bed with the dogs watching a movie. Iāve still got body aches and a sore throat. Yesterday I was feeling really weird (bored? Sad? Concerned?) and I wanted to get a buzz to not feel anything. I talked to a fiend about it. I didnāt really see myself going out and getting anything but it bugs me thatās still the coping mechanism I want first. I donāt think Iāve really developed new ones yet, just a few new hobbies. Something to keep in mind and work on for sure.

Day 111 clean and sober today.

Iāve been thinking about a new career and I started looking into becoming a certified personal trainer. It almost makes sense with how much I enjoy the gym and the results Iāve achieved by working out and eating right. I do have a long way to go still but I think it would be awesome to study the body and go deeper into learning how to properly take care of myself and teach others what Iāve learned. Iāve already seen such a huge difference from where I was then to now that I could be the poster boy for a changed life lmao. I hope everyone has a fantastic day today, love you guys!!!

I know the feeling well and itās good to be aware and start building that plan for the next time you feel it. You reached out, awesome. I like what a lot of people Iāve heard in recovery talk about their toolbox 
for managing cravings, triggers, etc. I hope you get the results soon and feel better!
