Checking in daily to maintain focus #21

I especially love places that not only are all about the booze but also don’t have sugar-free soda - leaving me with a choice of juice or water, and often the juice is so sugary that i’m left with a choice of just water or nothing lol :k

You’ve done 5 years before, you can do it again, you know you can.

Day 22. Feeling confident, had 2 solid weeks of focussing on writing music again. Can’t wait to actually be putting stuff out there again. Still got a long way to go to prove to myself I can be this person sober but I can feel it’s possible.

736 days alcohol, 16 days caffeine. I am excited, my legs are moving. I got the number of the actual tenant from an apartment to make an appointment. Maybe I can get this apartment. That would be cool. Second, there is just a position open in my former department. I just. applied and am really curious about the answer  mutation to my current position was the worst choice I made in the last 12 months. So, I keep my fingers crossed.

  1. Breakfast and coffee (not thinking about going decaf yet @anon74766472) in my kitchen before continuing work in my living room. Often when improving stuff, the mess at first gets worse before we can make it better. One day at a time. Have a good week all. Sober and clean. Love from Amsterdam.

@Misokatsu Huge congrats Flo! Steady progress lady. Great work.
@Charlie_C You can do this. Please come here when you crave instead of giving in. It might help.
@Clarity Your post makes me glad. Thanks for the share.

I really like sorting out things. Such a relieve, feels free. Kind of. Same now, when I think of that I sold my car in August. Of course I am less flexible in a certain extent but on the other side it gives me inner freedom, calm. Less is more. :yum::pray:

They deserve someone who keeps fighting and doesn’t give up - like you. Don’t be too hard on yourself, don’t want to be perfect. You’re a human not a robot. You have already done a lot for your family and yourself. Keep fighting!
