I should have hit the gratitude thread first, because everything I think of is about being thankful. Iām happy Iāll be going into the new year with 142 days of sobriety. Itās definitely a huge change for me. For the past many years, I never had to use NYE or Christmas or any other holiday as an excuse to drinkā¦ I was normally already drunk. Itās funny how very few people knew how bad it had gotten. I handled hiding it well. Iām glad I donāt have to anymore. Over drinking was a waste of my mind and my energy.
I donāt do New Yearās resolutions, but I think for 2022 Iām going to make some commitments to myself. Thank you, Eric @Dazercat, for the suggested daily readings. I already have the book ready to go for tomorrow. 
Iām also going to start off the new year with the plank challenge. Covid hit me during the November/December challenges, but Iām feeling up to it now. Thatās itā¦ I donāt want to overwhelm myself with trying to make a ton of changes. Being sober is more than enough for me.

Hey everybody checking in on Day 149
Feeling great except had a using dream last night to do with Ritalin pills, it wasnāt a good using dream where I said No for my recovery, in my dream I was all addict and gobbled the pills back like no tomorrow. Ah well it serves to remind me what still lives inside me and to be cautious.
Well today I still need to clean apartment. Definitely hit a Zoom NA meeting tonight
And hit the gym soon

Ahhh I hate those using dreams too 
always makes me wake up in a weird mood. Ya I have been enjoying the meetings. I feel like I really need to step up my recovery game abit. I put ALOT of energy into using (
) and so I need to do the same for my recovery. I really hope 2022 is a wonderful year for you Kat
