It’s my first sober super bowl Monday besides when I was deployed, and won’t lie still managed to get our hands on “supplies” while there. Feels great to wake up clear minded sipping a cup of coffee to enjoy the flavor not curb the effects of the hangover!!

It is inevitable for there to be a period of adjustment and for it to feel awkward and difficult. I know there was a lot of that for me at home!
Give it time, things will become clearer. Sitting in discomfort is a good skill to learn (with limits, of course boundaries and safety etc are also important!) There’s no rush and no need to have all the answers straight away. If it’s really important it will still be there to deal with in 6 months, a year etc

Day 123. Idk for some reason today says it’s 4 months. No idea is what it is. Thanks @SoberWalker for sure I don’t show any sort of displeasure to the person and play it off that im super happy. It’s me myself and my inner thoughts that tare me up. I come here and post about it bc it will eat at me if I keep it all bottled up. Trust me then I hate myself for coming here and posting it bc let’s be honest nobody really cares that much and everyone else has there own shit they are dealing with and nobody wants to keep hearing about tattoos lol. I can only speak for myself but I care about what other people post here. I don’t tattoo but I have insecurities about the things I’m passionate about. I feel self-doubt when investing in myself. It’s scary as shit to go for your dreams and put yourself out there. it’s nice to know that those thoughts are “normal” and be like yeah, me too.

First valentines day alone in 6 years. Not a big deal, we didnt celebrate it much anyways, but still not a fun reminder. Last year we were engaged and planning our wedding so it’s hard to ignore today.
Regardless, I will get through today sober and I hope you all do too
