Checking in daily to maintain focus #46

Rollercoasted as per usual! Dont know if you remember me posting about the dog having ear problems. Turned out she actually had a cancerous tumour! We removed it and we got the cancer all clear last week but it was months of worry and a major operation for her!

From where do you get your astonishing receipts? :astonished:

Omg Iā€™m sooo glad that they found that and removed it!

Mostly from my brainā€¦ :rofl::sunglasses:

I am not cooking with recipes very often.
Sometimes i am inspired from YouTube content for healthy recipes. Or I am repeating things I likeā€¦ Making little adjustments with what is in season.

The beetroot leaves are from my motherā€™s gardenā€¦ So we are using it atm.
Fresh, ecological and for free :ok_hand:t2::sunglasses:

I did also some sunrise hiking. Starting at 6 am and ending at latest 9 pm. Did sweat like hell, even in the early hours in Germany. But itā€™s worth it. :+1:

Day 183
I can really see myself liking this new routine for me. I get to sleep in until 615, make coffee, get my son on his feed while I pack everything up for school. LPN leaves at 7am and I get him ready and down to the bus for 845am. I no longer have to attempt to get myself up at 515am to work out. I am literally going to work out once my son goes to school. No time frames for itā€¦ no need to rush. Since today is the 1st day I will be completely alone :flushed: I need to plan my day. Outside of exercise I am not sure what to do. Iā€™m thinking of actually sitting in a coffee shop and reading for a bit. Havenā€™t done that 7 years lol. Then a walk thru the park. Then home to clean and wait for my boy.
Hope everyone has an addiction free day!

ARGH! Just stuck my head out the door for the first time today. Canā€™t do any hiking because itā€™s raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:
(Thatā€™s a southern expression if you didnā€™t know. I bet @Piglet86 has heard it at least once!)
In other news, I got a prescription for nicotine patch. The doctorā€™s office told me less than 5 minutes after Neighbor Joe gave me a half pack of cigarettes to get me through the day. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Donā€™t you create your dreamcatchers anymore?

I do! That is a good idea! I usually donā€™t make them unless I have a specific reason to do so. But maybe I could start on Xmas gifts! Thanks for the idea

Time to thank Joe and hand the cigs back?

Thatā€™s a decision Iā€™m currently wrestling with, now that you mention it. I figure if Iā€™m able to get the patches today, Iā€™ll probably do that.

Maybe this can cool you off a little bit. At least in your mind. That first month was really difficult for me. It was the worst. Hang in there. It does get easier. We got your back.
I love Germany. Looking forward to pics on the nature thread if your willing.
