@danam56 no meeting days – what a brilliant idea. Glad you were able to get caught up. I do hope your back doesn’t give you any trouble (were you able to discuss the pain management with your doctor)?
Yes- this is so important cause the as we become comfortable with our sobriety, we tend to forget how hard it was to obtain. @chunkborealis How are you doing? @catmancam OOOH man – I’m so sorry that you re-injured your Achillies – I do hope it’s a quicker heal this time. Hope the R.I.C.E treatment helps. @jennyh lovely day planned – I do hope you and hubby are able to celebrate your WA tonight @steveg Great to see you posting Steve – welcome to the community. Here is to an amazing day 1 that will lead to many more additional days We are not able to quit this demon on sheer willpower alone. Do you have a support system and a plan of attack for this sobriety journey? This is a wonderful community to be a part of. Checking in daily here really helps keep us all accountable. I do hope to see you around. @rob11 Glad you enjoyed the tennis matches. I know when I get my endorphins going later in the day or after a long pause of not having worked out then I feel super energized and sleep does take longer to arrive. Your body needed a day in bed – hope it is helping
Wow – this was lovely to read and yes—we can’t let fear hold us back. I am so proud of all that you are doing and am looking forward to this treatment as well. Much strength and love your way @JuliaLuna I do hope your little one feels better soon – a double ear infection (YIKES). Grateful that you were sober and clear headed to take him to urgent care. Great work on your timers!! @Trixie1 i do hope the symptoms subside soon.

YUMMY pizza night coming up enjoy my beautiful friend @pattycake Way to go Patricia – 80 days is fricking amazing Keep at it love.
Checking in on Saturday morning.
I was able to get a great knock out style nights sleep in - woke up totally feeling drugged but grateful it was just from actually getting some sleep. Throat starting to feel better but chest still hurts - healing in process.
Its all good – i’ve had my mush for breakfast with coffee (OH THANK GOD i’m able to drink coffee today). I am about to crawl back to bed for hopefully a good nap. Grateful that i do not have any plans for this weekend.
Hoping everyone has superb day today – sending everyone much love
Day 364
I woke up with a migraine today, so everything I planned to do didn’t happen. Except laying in bed with lots of painkillers and lots of Star Trek TNG on Netflix I’m doing better now, finally after 10 hours of pain I feel like myself again. Food is in the oven and I took some supplements that help my body to recover.
I wanted to stay up to make a screenshot when I pass the 1 year mark but I think I better sleep to not trigger another migraine.
Still grateful to be alive. Whatever life throws at me, I’ll beat it. Because finally, after all those trials and years, figths and losses, I know how strong I am and I believe in me.
Have a beautiful sober day friends, stay strong
I’m very frazzled after this week but keeping a lid on things. I’m aware that the darker intrusive thoughts are irrational and unreasonable so I can let them pass through. Also had a sick toddler and a sick dog this week, who both seem to be on the mend so that is helping a lot
Hey guys, just wanted to check in. Been busy, finally got myself into an IOP program a few weeks ago, to get sober the right way instead of relapsing every few months. So between that four nights a week, some meetings and work I’m swamped but it’s productive so it’s a good kinda busy . I actually feel great for the first time in forever. Got a couple months left, and then I’ll check in more often. Glad to see you all are doing good.
Congratulations on your 7 days @Hesmyportion
One week it’s a great achievement.
Sorry you’re feeling down but you’re right it will get better.
Don’t be too hard on yourself. Focus on taking care of yourself. Going for walks helps me a lot.
Stay strong.
