Hi everyone. My health is continuing to get worst. I have a new symptom that points to a liver disease. I’m scared and I need some support rn. I’m not sure who to turn to I feel so alone.
Here’s hoping that you do not have severe liver disease. I understand how that could be scary to you. I don’t know what your symptom is and I hope that you will see your doctor soon and she can listen to you tell her about your symptom while she checks you for signs. If you have anything going on that’s super super super super alarming then you need to go get care as soon as possible. I’m glad that you’re here at the site and I’m glad that you’re posting. Big hugs for you while you go through this hard time being scared about your liver. Wishing you and your liver good health.
Congratulations Rosa on the 800 days and going forward!
@RosaCanDo !
Proud of you for doing it and the difference it has made for you.
Here’s a T-shirt for you.
@liminal.rehab Happy 30th!!!
And you went out and you danced until 8 o’clock in the morning, that’s great, don’t let anybody tell you you can’t have fun if you’re not drinking, you have shown yourself and them that!
Super proud of you and wishing you an awesome year ahead! The world out there is yours!
I am seeing more doctors starting Weds. This has been on going for so long it’s just one symptom after another… I’m scared. Irony is as a teen and young adult my goal was to someday not be alive anymore. Well I’ve recovered from that thinking and now I may just get what I’d been wanting for a long time.
I’m glad that you have your will to live. That’s huge. Be really, really proud of yourself for that! I’m proud of you! Again, I’m glad that you’re here.
Let’s think positive, and as you are able, you will find out what is going on.
Way to go on ur 5 days of being gambling free! Thank u for opening up an sharing that with us. Its amazing how other addictions can just sneak up on us. Glad ur taking care of this friend
Evening Check In
Day 664
I guess today was alright. Another usual clean and sober day! I had some weird bouts of dissassociation today tho while on the way home from work. It was fairly easy to snap myself out of it but it definitly thru me off. I grabbed supper on the way home and I just finished doing a little self care now. One more day of work and then have a busy week ahead. Lots of Christmas baking, shopping, and a visit from Santa for my son will be on the To Do list next week. Have a great night everyone!
@butterflymoonwoman a new fish? That’s exciting! I’m sorry that movie took your mind back in time – grateful that you are not there anymore. That you are in a sober safe and healthy space.

@rockstar24777 Ah man I am sorry that you are still feeling ill – I do hope the medication starts helping you soon. I can understand being in a bad headspace when I am sick and not feeling my best. We are here for you Robbie – chat with us when you start feeling low. You are not alone my friend.
@smootie8220 WOOT WOOT – so awesome Lys! I know the headaches and lack of sleep can be frustrating at the beginning. It does get easier and it is so rewarding when sleep regulates and healthy sleep times are set. Keep working on using your tools and connecting with us here to gain strength in beating this addiction.
@lainenicole96 Oh my goodness Laine – I am so very sorry that you had such a severe migraine. I do hope you are feeling better now Great work on your 20 days – about to be 3 weeks
@mindofsobermike Hope you had a good time at the Christmas party tonight. I know during the beginning of our journey we are going through many changes and need to take the time to focus on ourselves and our own recovery. It gets harder for us to devote our time to a relationship. Going your separate ways may what is needed for both of you. Oh – so glad you had a good time tonight
@bomdhil SO grate to hear from you Thomas. I am so sorry that you are still feeling ill. This seems to be lingering for some time now. Have you seen a doctor? I do hope everything is ok friend I know relapses take their toll and are worse when we are already feeling low. Grateful for your strength to get back on track and stack on 5+ days – keep it going

I do hope that you are able to see a doctor and get the tests necessary and start a treatment plan to get you healthier. Sending you comfort right now. I am so grateful that you are now wanting to live and no longer in that negative head space. Hoping that starting Wednesday you start seeing some answers

For some reason that’s a visually aesthetic number to me. Not sure why, but I like it
Well, if it’s not one thing, it’s another. As soon as my alarm went off and I opened my eyes this morning, all I could smell was gas. I called my landlord but I had to work 30 minutes later. It was a record high of 60° so I just left all the windows open and my door unlocked. They said it was some tank in the basement that’s valve was accidentally turned, right under my apartment I’m just wondering how it happened in the middle of the night bc I went to bed at like 2am and didn’t smell it. When I got home I could smell it outside the building so I dug my fans out, that I just put away, and that seemed to air it out. Ugh wtf!
Other than that it was actually a pretty good day. Work was steady and fruitful. I did some late night shopping for Christmas gifts finally. Found some really unique stuff for cheap. Thanks 5 Below Now I’m just watching a movie mindlessly, which is precisely what I need to recharge. Looking forward to making the most of tomorrow. Hope you all have a great night!

Wet and very windy today. A great day to go to the beach and have a long walk with the wind in my back. Alas I have to go and work instead. The good news is that I’ll have a week off work after and I’m going to make the best of that. As I will make the best of my working Sunday. Sober and clean. As I expect from you all friends. Life’s still not easy sober but so much better. Just as long as we work it. One day at a time and all that. Have as good a day as you all can. Love from Terschelling beach, good memories with a good friend.
@Alycia That’s a great message of hope friend. Love your theme. Here’s hoping it all works out with your friend and your sis
@Dolse71 Congrats on 5 days free from gambling Paul!

I just woke up with a massive headache. No fun.
I have only easy stuff planned for today though. Looking forward to a nice walk this afternoon.
Nighttime check in on 661 no alcohol. It was a stressful night at work and I am prepping for another one tomorrow. Then Monday is a day off and happens to be my husband’s 50th birthday. We’ll have dinner, see Godzilla Minus One and put up the tree. He’s going out with a friend tomorrow while I’m at work which suits me fine.
I’ll end the night with some ice cream and good wishes for you all.
@liminal.rehab Wow, I can’t believe it’s been nearly 10 months! A sober celebration filled with good food, friends and a boogie all night. Well done on how far you have come, and a very big Happy Birthday to you DJ
