Same on Dune. We go to see it on the 4th. Going to watch the first Dune again next weekend.

Morning peeps. Just got to work, but it’s a long shift so hope it goes quick. Left early to drop one of the kids off at the airport, who took a job in a band on a cruise ship, so he’ll be gone for a few months. So if anybody ends up on the Holland America between the states and the Netherlands, let me know and yous can check up on him for me.

The stomach is back to normal but now I got this sore throat my coworker had

I left work earlier, got meds and will have a nice bath when I’m home.
I enjoy not being judged any more at work, because the drama queen who loved doing that, is finally gone now. She’ll have her first baby next week and I pray that she stays at home for quite a bit.
The whole team is way more relaxed! I’m always impressed how strong an impact of one person can be.
Besides the cold I’m good, stable and happy

Morning everyone! Today is day 154 af. Sitting on the couch enjoying my coffee, watching the news. Going to the Y this morning, then off and running to a meeting, and Target. I love just meandering through stores. It is going to be very nice today, with a high of 73. Think I will put some burgers on the grill for supper.

Checking in after the weekend. I stopped by a few times when i had a minute, but wasn’t able to get my thoughts together to write anything. I finished out my very busy week at work and dove right into getting ready for our fundraiser on Saturday. I got my pies baked, prepared the dinner special and took care of the door prizes and all the other small things that needed to be done. We had a great turn out, sold a lot of food, had some good musicians show up to entertain the crowd and raised a nice amount of money for the recipient - a young lady battling cancer for the second time. We do this every month, but i always worry im going to forget something.
Yesterday i got up early and did laundry and household chores that got put on the back burner for a couple days. My husband and i went and looked at some cars - still don’t know what i want and then went bowling with his brother and sister. It was a fun day and good to unwind a little.
I started feeling a little sick and rundown Friday and Saturday, but took cold meds and pushed through. Yesterday afternoon, it really hit me - im sick. Feeling pretty miserable today, but i tested negative for covid so i have to make myself go to work soon. I really want to lay on the couch and rest, but i don’t have anyone who can cover for me at work this evening. I’ll take some meds, get a shower and hope i feel better.

Checking in 1 day Feeling good today. Tried calling my sponsor for the first time in like a month so that was good. Gave my phone to my wife for the night and I hope that helps. Just got to go at it one day at a time.

Day 60 again.
You know, since April 2022 I’ve done 13 months sober, a few 60 days and a couple of 30s and some odd change. 41 year old me drank wine or alcohol EVERY DAY. Mostly every day anyway. For two decades, at least. I’m trying every day now to ensure that I make upcoming 45 year old me a sober one. When that birthday comes I hope to still be sober, and happier.
I’ll start with this 60 and roll for now.

I feel ya today. This morning I turned off my alarm and fell right back asleep. I never do that. Luckily my daughter was up and got me or she might’ve been late for school
