Glad you were able to swim. Sorry that it didn’t really help. Grateful the meditation did help and hopefully you are able to get some sleep. Grateful that you did not give into the drinking thoughts

@mira_d You are not an asshole and are dealing with some major things – it is ok to give them a voice and feel em out. You love your family and you love your nephew and it is ok to also feel overwhelmed and exhausted in dealing with all the family stuff not to mention the anxiety of the trial starting on Monday. Having to go there alone also can’t be easy. Please do find time for some self care and relaxation Big hugs to you my friend
@bomdhil Well done on your 12 days! Wishing you luck with the 4th step. I am not familiar with the steps but do know many here have taken time to work on this step. Maybe this thread may provide some tips Anyone have advice on working the 4th step? Thanks friend – I used a firm foam pad to sleep on. I do like to sleep without a pillow and stretch out my neck. The floor was not a comfortable experience last night cause it was harder to get settled from the dizzy spells so I have made my bed firmer by adding wooden planks under the mattress – hope this helps

Great work on doubling down and working on your tools. Remember you are stronger than that voice and it really has nothing good to offer. You can get another 24 hours sober

The day kinda just flew by. Glad I got to spend some time with my sister. Got in a quick swim today. Grateful for that as the pool was super busy today. Had to take some time for a nap.
