Thank you my dear. Knowing that I have you guys honestly kept me pushing. A lot of convincing myself that if I screwed up I would not only let myself down but everyone here as well. I know that’s not really the full case but had to get myself convinced somehow lol Hopefully that makes sense.
Exactly this. I know a lot of us would likely agree. Including myself (quite often) I still remember your first day and I’m so happy you’re sticking with us 🩷
Checking in. Feeling the peace come back into my mind and body feels really good! Everything seems to fall into place after a really stressful period of time and I am just thankful for it.
Gloomy morning. Perfect for resting. I’ll need at least another day to recover from all the dental trauma. Yikes! I’m drinking my coffee-flavoured milk as we speak . I’ll be around today with my mashed potatoes and gravy. Hey that sounds kinda good
Checking in. 21 AF, 5 weed free. 3 weeks without alcohol, yay!
Whew, now my move is done. It went really smoothly and I already unpacked everything, so now I can just chill. I just came from a walk to get to know my new neighbourhood and shiiiit, I’m so happy that now I can go for a nature walk or a run almost straight from my front door. I’m also happy that I’m now living in a supported housing where here is staff available on office hours, so if my mental health starts to crash down, I can talk to them without first going to the psychiatric ward. I’m glad I’m sober because if I had been drunk or high, this move would have been a total catastrophy. I just drank coffee and now I’m listening Allen Grey’s wonderful classical and cinematic music and soon I’ll start reading the Bible and Timothy Keller’s book about Christian praying. I hope you all have a great 24!
Week 3! That’s amazing! Congrats
Your new place sounds amazing. I’m so glad it’s finally done and you can focus on other areas of your life now instead of being occupied by the move.
Thank you, my friend. Yeah, this new place is a really good for my mental health. I hated living in my previous apartment because the neighbourhood was full of crimes and drugs. Now that’s left behind, thank God. How are you doing today?
Such great news. 3 weeks no alcohol! Woohoo. Congrats on your new home. It sounds like the perfect place you can be! Alway here to read your posts my friend.
