Checking in daily to maintain focus #75

6,22am on day 23, hands and wrist joints are a bit painful this morning so used my PEMF mat for 5mins,… an hours gardening pulling weeds out Sunday and this is the result. On the list today is calling GP and waiting for a zoom call from someone from femmar.com . my body is truly fucked :grimacing: , possibly eating a bit more sugar than usual so probably doesn’t help joints, so gonna be vigilant on sugar today, :orange_heart:

One more day off work. I need to do some stuff today and not just scroll and doze it away. Procrastination is a b*tch. And I’m a master at it. Time to get moving. I will. Let’s have as good a day as we all can friends. Sober and clean or nothing will come of it. Love.

Good morning everyone.
Lovely photos @SoberWalker and @Mno. Hope you make the most of your day off today mno get shit done :+1:
A little brighter here today, looking forward to finishing work once again and getting out leisurely walking.
Day 23 no thoughts of drinking, feeling ready for anything.
We had our scaffolding put up yesterday for a new roof to be started next week. I cant start planting out in the garden until that comes down in a few weeks but its clean and free of weeds.
I have plenty to do up at the allotment until then.
Hope you all have a good day.

Checking in early morning on day
671 no alcohol
180 no form of weed
311 nic free

Yesterday I hit 22 months no alcohol

Today the baby woke up at about 1:30 or 2 in the morning
I got up, made him a bottle but couldn’t sleep after so now I’m here

I remember roaming the streets at this time looking for anything to get me under the influence. spice weed alcohol and anything. I also remember being up at this time super hung over.its honestly giving me a belly ache thinking about it all. Drinking nips in a shed with homeless people. What the hell was I doing? I was trash!
Not any more

I’m up at almost 4am on a workday sipping coffee sober, awake, aware and happy. I’m happy

I haven’t craved anything for about a week or longer. That’s the first time that’s happened. I feel aware I don’t need substances and I also feel like I love life without them

Stay strong everyone
Staying sober gets better

I just looked at the link you shared, i didnt realise your in Holland! I remember about two decades ago i went on a bicycle tour of cheese makers on the outskirts of the city in Amsterdam. It was brilliant. I still remember the smell to this day !

You definitely were not trash. You were in a particular experience that you can look back on as a learning experience.

Your a beautiful human. You are not trash and you never were, and never will be.

None of us are. We are the soberian family! :flexed_biceps::heart_hands::folded_hands::heart:

Day 431 AF check in, check :white_check_mark:

Well, we’re up bright and early for attempt number two at getting the vampires to drain some blood and analyze to ensure it’s up to their standards.

Passed on ecg at this time as their wasn’t an appt available and I’m not overly concerned with that currently, though I will get done.

Have a wonderful day… after gym today, meeting son for a burger… I’m so jacked as this will be my first meal off diet since I began fairly regimented 5 weeks ago. A celebratory dinner for busting through a long standing weight barrier.

Hooray :tada:

Checking in! 4 day without harmful internet use! I am not recovered by any means yet but this is longer than I ever thought I was capable of, I’m so excited to keep counting up the days!

18 days without video games. This is getting easier the longer it’s been since I last played but I am still mourning gaming and thinking about it most days wishing I could go back, even though it was ruining my life for years. I have heard that sometimes quitting something that was a really big part of your life is like going through the stages of grief and that definitely feels true… denial, bargaining, depression… I have hope that with work and patience one day I will reach acceptance.

Today I am studying from home, and the sun is shining and I feel good. Take care everyone!

Cold morning, rather hazy outside, but nice. Had a night with few sleep due to histamine. I suspected it would happen already in the afternoon, so it did not freak me out.
Had a great morning meeting. Going to work a bit on my gamejam submission, take a nice long nap in the afternoon and relax.

Today’s picture is some nice streetart from Ghent, Belgium.

Peace and love always :lotus:
