HaHa. I was in panic mode just being at the meeting, so it didn’t really compute at the time. I do remember the lady being very insistent as she shoved it in my hand… it was her chip, not one ‘presented’ within the meeting (and she then told me I had nice hands)
Thank you @Matt, @Jane.c, @Fargesia_murielae, @Mtrav0040, @CapriciousCapricorn, @SassyRocks, @Mno, and @Hopeful777! I apologize if I needed anyone because all of your support means more to me than I’m even capable of expressing
Today is a nail biter. I’m back and forth in my head about drinking today. I keep starting to place an order and stopping. I couldn’t stop crying so canceled my day and left the office before the boys even got in. Told them I have the funk and didn’t want to get them sick. At least it’s not my “migraine “ story when I take over a week off at a time.
I think the strongest part of the urge has passed, but I’m not letting my guard down as it’s all I’m thinking about
Checking in on Day 211. Band practice tonight. Tomorrow is my Friday. Two PRs at the gym this morning. Feels good to get back on track.
One of today’s PRs. 330 pound deadlift.
Have a strong day!!!
Here’s an idea. Give that chip to someone else getting close to that milestone.
You stay with us Beth. It’s what this site and what we are here for. Keep reading, keep talking and keep your sobriety.
Thank you my friend😊
Day 24and not missing drinking or smoking one bit.
The house is so quiet my wife has gone to Scotland for a few days my son is at his girlfriends ahhh peace perfect peace.
I’ve still got the dogs to look after and work to go to. It is so nice knowing I dont need to go to the pub and that I am not giving anything up by not going.
Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday

Thanks, never going back to that disgusting habit. I’m a non smoker and non alcohol drinker now and it feels great.
Blessings and sobriety!
don’t know what I’m more impressed with… err… yes I do. Well done.
Getting stronger, both physically, and with my sobriety, one day at a time!
days!! Congratulations!
Let’s eat cake!!
A lot of cake!
Best numbers I’ve ever seen, not to mention the fact that you have been sober enough to even take the photo.
@Joy Aww thanks Joy. You are really smashing this sobriety. And more impressive for me is your 200 days no smoking! Fabulous!
bit late to the party as usual but still never too late to congratulate you on 200 days, well done, proud of you mate.
@Dolse71 Thanks Paul. I’m really enjoying being sober and not smoking. I am seeing and feeling the benefits now and I’m not yet a month in. Odaat though mate.
