Hey Dana, could your lightheadedness could be related to your fast? I’m assuming you are taking in calories even though you are food abstinent?
Take care of yourself. :pink_heart::pink_heart:

Hey there! Thank you for responding friend :pink_heart: I actually stopped IF about 2 months ago id say. I do eat 3 meals a day now :slight_smile: When I say Im food abstinent, it means free from binge eating or disordered eating. Its kind of an OA term I suppose. But i can see how that term can be confusing lol I eat about 1850 calories a day which is a slight deficit for me. I am taking a weight loss med tho that maybe is effecting me a bit? Idk

Ah! I read food abstinent and didn’t want to pry. Just making sure you were feeding your machine. Congrats on your food abstinent days. Keep knocking down those goals and I hope you feel more like yourself soon.

A new med could be the culprit. Be gentle with yourself friend. We all need that reminder.

Thats absolutely okay! I can see how that can be confusing. I changed the wording just now on my post and will change it moving forward :slight_smile: I appreciate you asking me, caring about me, and noticing that hugs

I’m so sorry for the rough day Dana
I too was thinking maybe the food abstinence was an issue but now I understand that terminology.

Dehydration can definitely be causing these symptoms as well as the new meds. I have had to start my day will one glass of room temp water to help with my dizziness. I make sure to also drink 1/2 a glass of water in between my coffee cups (allowing myself 2-3 coffees a day). I also found it super helpful brushing the back of my neck with some pressure. It opens up that meridian line and increases blood circulation.

Please keep an eye on this as dizzy spells in combination with vision impairment can be serious. Check with your doctor if the symptoms are persistent.

Hey, almost twin, Congrats!!!

Checking in day 361. At work. Stupid busy. Why did they put Friday on a Tuesday this week? Sober, for the win, and looking for cake, berry shortcake, in a few days! Hey, @Tragicfarinelli Congrats on the new job! What an undeserved ordeal, though, to get there…ugh these are hard times. Everybody: Stay strong, stay sober, stay keen. Checking in with 8 days alcohol free

Today was a much better work day than yesterday. I feel good about the way i handled myself and did my job. Life feels shaky right now but I’m feeling a bit better than I have. I’m ready to keep processing this all in therapy and to go on a mini vacation and relax away from work this weekend. I hope you’re all doing okay today and that you experience some peace. Thanks for being here and inspiring me.
