I’m exactly the same with all these first person shooter type games on the console these days, I know that they’ll probably be fun to play but I just came be arsed getting in to them. It’s not like I’m missing anything worthwhile 
Chess though is an intellectual game and supposed to be a meeting of the minds type thing, I will learn one day

Yeah I’ve literally never played a first person shooter, I havn’t had a console for many years. Me and my brother did put two to an Xbox 360 when they first came out but we didn’t keep it for long. I used to like driving games but they lost their shine aswell.
I know that I’m missing out to some extent but I literally have no desire to spend months playing a game whilst chatting to a fellow player from the other side of the world and I welcome people to criticise me for this as long as they have some sort of real world social life going on aswell but chess has so much more to it in many ways so I really will learn to play one day
