Children’s TV shows - What did you watch?

Share the TV shows that you watched where you lived when you were a kid - let’s see what everyone grew up on

Sesame Street was one of the few shows my parents would let me watch. This skit is one of my absolute favourites: the Martian visitors discover a telephone :joy:

I watched a lot of cartoons and the usual stuff Saturday mornings in the mid late 60’s and early 70’s.

But somehow this childhood memory came up of me racing home from school to watch this in the afternoon. It wasn’t very popular or well know or last very long. But I loved Kimba.
Maybe why I’m a cat person.

We were raised on the same stuff i think. Some of that I’m pretty sure is pure Canadiana. Perhaps you also remember Today’s Special, Under the Umbrella Tree or Teddy Ruxpin.

I find almost any kids show created after the 90s to be unbearable and without any value to development. However I will say that as a dad of two young kids i am so grateful for Molly of Denali and without a doubt one of the greatsst shows of all time Bluey. So many great things about that show. Important lessons but some amazing humour. An honorable mention goes to Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom. Not overlly educational or anything but no obnoxious characters like Peppa or Caillou.

To be clear. You hated the show. Right? Not Scooby.
You couldn’t possibly hate a cartoon dog.
