I think I posted about this one before. But not in this thread. So why not. Floris. A medieval Dutch count/knight, sort of an answer to Ivanhoe. With Rutger Hauer as Floris and Paul Verhoeven directing. Just one season made in 1969 but it reran for years after.

OMG! I was obsessed with those books in 5th grade and was so psyched when they turned it into a show! I had a VHS full of episodes I taped off tv 
I almost forgot about Tales from the Crypt! I don’t remember if that was actually a kids show tho Either way, I watched it

I lived right above you. We never had cable growing up, but we lived close enough to Canada that our antennas picked up their stations so I watched alot of Canadian tv. Which just reminded me of Pingu! Anyone?!
My grandmother had cable, so that’s where I got my nickelodeon fix(and MTV too, when they still played music).
