Welcome to the community. Have you thought about seeking treatment, either in patient or an IOP? Is this a daily habit?

No I use only once a week.. just one or 2 bags maximum, but I’ve just had enough,I did the meetings just no confidence in sharing

Whats good about meetings is there is no requirement of going, you dont have to share, you can just listen and take it in.
I quit hard drugs over 20 years ago now. Best advice i can give you, is just walk away from it, and the people associated with it. I was also a daily drug user then, and not just one drug. Homeless, all that jazz. So not exactly like your situation. I do understand wanting to be done with something that brings no benefits to your life.

You’re in the right place and well done for posting and recognizing !

My first post was 28 days ago and i to was struggling with cocaine… I managed to go 10 days which was longest I’d had for a while and the. A slight relapse and now on 18 days.

I was a daily user, my brain was fully warped and that feeling of even wanting to quit made me scared because cocaine makes you think you need it more then anything else especially after that last bit is done.

This app has been a game changer for me, search other users stories, the comments etc and keep checking in here, at the moment I’m on here 24/7 and almost using as diary to check in etc

This might sound abit corny but believe me if I can improve then so can you, just remember why you’ve come here in the first place, everyone’s here to help !

Really appreciate your advice thanks , my sponsor put pressure on me to share and this made it worse for me. I did a few times but he wanted me to share every meeting

You shouldn’t be pressured to share your story, if you aren’t ready, you aren’t ready. Im sorry that happened.

Welcome to the forum Jacob! My DOC was the same as urs. Used multiple times a week for years and was desperate like urself to quit. This forum has been lifesaving for me. I hope its helpful for u too. How have u been since u made this post?

In my opinion… listening is JUST as important as sharing. Plz dont feel pressured to share. U want ur experience at meetings to be a positive one. I like online meetings also. Have u tried those?

Just wondering if u have an action plan for the the day that u would usually use? Is there a specific day of the week that u tend to use on? A plan of distractions, going to a mtg, coming on here, talking to others in recovery, self care are all good things

People, it seems, will let you down but you can’t condemn the whole idea of going to meetings because of 1 negative experience. I can relate because I have experienced the same kind of thing, so I just distanced myself from that person and focused on my recovery and going to other meetings.

Having a good sponsor is a game changer man, I pray the willingness for you to try again for you, because the 12 step program can set you free.

I was never able to stay clean without the support of other recovering addicts. WE can stay clean together
