We celebrate Walpurgisnacht here yes, every year. In my village the scouts comes with canoes along the river carrying torches, and then they march to lit the Walpurgisnacht bonefire.
We also play some traditional Walpurgisnacht music,songs usually performed by an all male choir. And the night ends with a huge firework, or it used too. Nowdays they usually skip that because people complains about the fireworks.
For what I know there’s a few more countries in Europe that celebrate as well. It might be different than our way though.
And yes We have midsummer too. But that’s in June. Walpurgisnacht is April 30.
Cannot see this coming. Who would this be? I know in Germany certain waste costs money that’s why it’s done there. My colleague said it’s for free here.
