@Yoda-Stevie, he,'ll go ten rounds with Connor mc,gregor but show him a spider and watch him run! I’m kidding of course m8, I hate the little buggers myself (not scared just don’t like em:joy:) and we don’t even have black widows or flesh destroying brown recluse spiders over here.
I gave up the Commanders seat in a Humvee to a tarantula. I was armed with a pistol and fighting knife, had helmet and body armor…and I still jumped out of that seat.
Haha, funnily enough I’m less bothered by massive ones like a tarantula though I still wouldn’t like to cuddle up to one,it’s something about the way that they look and move that just freaks me right out.
Reminds me of when I was younger and one would scurry across my bedroom carpet, I would blast it to bits with my 18 shot air pistol. Its a good job we,re not allowed real firearms over here.
My friend received a tarantula for her bd, which she definitely did not want. I’ll never forget the tension when she opened that present. Well, the next morning there were two of them in the tank. Ok, it shed it’s skin, but she still freaked out.
This picture apparently is real. Shot in Austria… Panic of the virus. And then see what the guy buys: instant Asia noodles
Nooo!!! This will be stuck in my head for weeks!!!
Literally a zombie thread
Some of this didn’t age well.
That article did not age well
Oh yeah. The majority of this did not age well
I was still in denial. Lol
But I still don’t understand why we weren’t concerned about the absolutely record shattering flu season we were in the middle of. I was very mad that no one was talking about it when Covid hit. I didn’t even know how bad it was until the back and forth.
This flu season should be interesting. On the one hand, the last 6 months have us more aware of viruses, hygiene, prevention. Masks will be worn, and social distancing, plus more will get vaccinations than in previous years, I think.
On the other hand, people are gonna freak out at the first sneeze or sniffle thinking they might have COVID-19.
To me the issue is going to be with communities that have occurrences of both. Are hospitals equipped to handle a spike of both diseases? Does having the flu make you more susceptible to Covid? Certainly going to be interesting.
The optimist in me predicts this will be a historically mild flu season, and this will be attributed to people being extra cautious due to Corona.
So far it looks like I’m going to be right on that account. But as they say, you can be right or you can be happy.
Living in the US under a layer of smoke coming from over 2000 miles away, it still feels like it’s coming to an end.
A patient of mine who was COVID response for the Army National Guard said that the plan would be in introduce the new vaccine into the existing Flu Vaccine.
