Earlier in the week I found out that my doctor was one of those “Covid is a hoax” people…until he got sick himself, was on a ventilator for 10 days, and almost fucking died.
So much for that.

Its compulsory to wear full PPE at work so I do
In day to day life I choose not too but I respect social distancing and government guidelines
It’s only compulsory to wear masks here on public transport which I don’t use, thank goodness

This stresses me out!! Our mayor said it is mandatory so I do it.
I spent the morning reading crap from my neighborhood complaining about masks and should we wear them? Or not wear them?
This virus is new and we are all learning, including doctors. If there is a chance a mask can help then I wear it.
Nobody knows for sure what to do right now. I’m so sick of people complaining.
Sorry I guess this hit a nerve for me!! I came on here to get the covid and the masks out of my mind .

Last damn thing I want to read here right now. I live in Las Vegas and we have casinos opening and so much going on right now, people fighting about masks. Some guy told me that we are all going to get covid🥶. I literally just sat down to read recovery help and stories to get my mind back on sobriety. Yes I will move on from this post. I hope it doesnt trigger anyone

I’m so glad I live in New Jersey (at least now) where it is has been mandatory since April throughout the entire state to wear a mask no if ands or butts so no one has to have this argument. We might have been in the middle of the pandemic before but we are doing something right now and I think masks is a huge part of that.
