Hey @Peterpan143, what you’ll do is confront your gf and get to the bottom of this. What you won’t do is throw away your sobriety over some shit like this. Drinking will not make this go away or make any of it better. It won’t take the pain and fear away, it won’t help you through, it’ll only delay your emotional reaction and keep you stuck in a hole.
Maybe the situation is not what you think. If it is, that’s horrible. I’ve dealt with massive betrayal after 14 years together since I’ve got sober and it was really horrible. But it would have been worse had I lost myself again. I can promise you that.
Stay strong and check in here a lot!

Use this as a test to get stronger.
Don’t let it be an excuse to drink. There are no excuses that are good enough. You have the power to stay sober and come out the other side of this stronger.
As for how to approach this. My first advice is to stay calm, be cool and collected with all parties involved.
Talk to her, perhaps reply to his text and ask him “why” he is looking for that information??

do you really want to move on like this? you still don’t know at all what has happened nor do i feel you really tried to give your gf the chance to come clean and tell the story. comparing her to your ex is not a wise move. neither is vaguely threatening to end it after the next incident. do you really want to leave it at that? is this a good basis to go on in your life living in accordance with your values and your needs? you got 90 days. my advice would be to talk to your sponsor about your own side of the street.
