Naomi sharon…another life… tell me what u think of it ![]()
Love is a wicked game to be sure! I really liked that! I also listened to a couple of the remixes, the Aaron Hibell remix is pretty chill! ![]()

First one for the day is a new one for me, while the song itself is not newly created, I have only just heard it (thanks to a soundtrack on a movie called “Companion”)! I fell in love the second I heard it! The song “Boy” from the Book of Love album by Book of Love!
The second is a single called “Hurrikan” by Electric Callboy! If you’ve never heard anything by this band, I suggest doing a little dive into their music! A wild combo of electronic and HEAVY metal! The music video is also well made and entertaining!
Today’s first is a new one for me, “AUTONOMOUS DELIVERY ROBOT” by grandson on their INERTIA album, I’m now planning on listened to a lot more of grandson!
Second is a classic, a song that opened the door for me into the band Knocked Loose, the song is “Counting Worms” from their Laugh Tracks album! Killer sound!
New one for today is “Need Your Love” by Pato Shoucair from his La Herida album! Has some great bass and the vocals are awesome!
Second is a song I’ve been listening to consistently for over a year now, and has turned me onto the rest of the music by these artists! The single is “dedede” by the band haku. Highly suggest!
Maybe you like futurebae ![]()
If you’re curious about psychedelic, 70s funk, jazz, reggae, 70s muddy blues and fusion….Consider listening to nodax playlists exclusively on Spotify.
Hellllll yessssss this is some good stuff! Thank you thank you! Definitely going to add a few of these to my daily playlist!! ![]()

Awesome stuff, honestly I don’t listen to much of this genre of music, so it nice to flex my eardrums with unfamiliar rhythms and sounds!
Found this on the “Nodax 52.0” playlist, “In Pursuit of Shai Hulud” by The Sorcerers! Very chill, and a sick ass Dune reference too (one of my all time favorite book/movie series), can’t go wrong with that!
@Alexh666 - thank you for the words of encouragement and thanks for opening your mind to nodax playlists! Right on Brother!!
Ever listen to Devin Townsend or the Devin Townsend Project? More prog metal than electronic metal, and I’m usually not that into prog metal but I absolutely love DT. Ziltoid is a concept album about an omniscient muppet that comes to Earth, and demands Earth’s finest cup of coffee within 5 minutes or face annihilation.
He has a ton of range in his material though and many albums to chew on. Below is a great live album that can give you some idea of a cross-section of the DTP stuff:
I also believe he has been sober for at least 10-15 years.
I know I’ll be checking out some of the recommendations on this thread in the coming weeks.
Thanks for that, everyone!
Dude I had never heard of either, but I’m glad you suggested them, very cool sound, I too don’t listen to much progressive metal but this is a unique sound!
Not only does it sound good, the artwork is WICKED! The song “Offer Your Light” from the Transcendence album is dope! Thanks again for the suggestion, I appreciate knowing when artists are sober too, it gives me some hope!
I have three today! Thanks to a couple of posts on this thread I’ve done a little deeper dives into some of the suggestions!
Thanks to @DanielaJ I’ve explored futurebae, a wild and intriguing artist! She packs a punch with her fast paced upbeat jams! I really really enjoy the feeling of the song “WiR sinD FREUunde” on her BLA (berlin love affair) album! There are a few on that album that I plan on listen to a lot more!
And thanks to @Missmaryjane I dove deeper into Naomi Sharon! Her music is heartfelt and very soulful, a little sad but hopeful at the same time! The song “Calm Waters” on the album The Only Love We Know hits really hard, I can’t wait to listen to more of her music!
And for number three I’ve got one of my own suggestions, a go-to tune for me! The song is “Gosh” by Jamie xx from his In Colour album. The bass slaps, the vocals are different, and for me it just transports me! Hope you enjoy!
New one for me today is a song called “enter” by Night Tapes from their newest album titled portals//polarities. Very chill, has a Grimes-type of vibe!
Another go-to tune for me is the single “She Don’t Dance” by Everyone You Know. A healthy mixture of hip-hop and electronic genres, it puts me in my feelings every time I listen to it!
New find today is a band called Tokyo Tea Room! I listened to the album No Rush a couple times this morning, hard to choose a favorite! But I will go with “I’m Just Human”
Second up is a classic for me! “No Pity for a Coward” by Suicide Silence on The Cleansing album. It reminds me of the best parts of high school (a turbulent time)!
I actually don’t know that song @Alexh666 I’m going to check it out right now…
I can’t believe you found it a bit sad…I ought to listen to something u recommend lol give me a good happy song that I don’t know ![]()

Maybe not sad, she just has a melancholy voice I suppose! A lot of emotion!
The song “Who’s Laughing Now” by DURRY always cheers me up! Hopefully it has a similar effect on you!
Today’s post is a three parter, all of which are albums that really make me happy and just makes me want to dance! I haven’t listened to anything new today, felt like falling back onto my favorites!
First one is by Nation of Language off of their Introduction, Presence album! The song is “Rush & Fever” and just listening to it sends a warm feeling through me!
Second is a song I found back when I was in rehab so it holds a lot of meaning and feeling for me personally! The artist is Future Islands, the album is Singles, and the song is “Seasons (Waiting on You)”!
Lastly is a song called “Don’t Want to Feel It All” by White Lies on their Friends album! Groovy/sad sound that gets me in my feels, quite relatable! Hope you enjoy!
Happy holidays!
