:backhand_index_pointing_up:t3: Me, too! I felt sore as hell today. I was tired too but the workout gave me a little pep in my step. Way to push through @Butterflymoonwoman! Sometimes the hardest days are the days we need the gym the most! :flexed_biceps:t4:

I, for some reason, got confused and didn’t realize that today was my sixth straight day. I was ready to fight through tomorrow to make it to what I thought would be my rest day on Wednesday! I’ll see though. Depending on what the workouts are, I have the option to cherry pick the one I like the most and that will determine if my rest day is tomorrow or Wednesday. I’ll check in the morning.

I have 19 gym visits so far for November (I forgot my heart rate monitor on the 4th ) and the calories burned are on the lower side this time of year.

I’ve been looking into getting a My Zone HRM… Seems quite good. Most of our instructors don’t remember to put the tvs on to project the heart rate zones of all the members in the class with the HRM on, which might be better? Not sure how competitive it might get, my spin instructor def uses it to scream about folk getting out the green… Then will go to their bike and help them get above 160…

They are quite expensive though here and I already have a fitbit. I’ve also been toying with the idea of a Garmin. Decisions! How do you find the MyZone tech?

Your are probably right! Might cause some competitiveness. But that’s still unfortunate because there are individuals who I’m sure just really want to track themselves.

:backhand_index_pointing_up:t3: This spin instructor means business! I love it! :joy::flexed_biceps:t3:

As for the MyZone, I love it and over time slightly became obsessed with it. Just as I mentioned above, I love being able to track my progress, specifically over the three years that I’ve had it. I actually purchased it through my previous gym when I was doing their nutrition program. And you are correct, they are indeed pricey but I feel like they are pricier now for some reason. I remember paying around $90 USD for the MZ 3. I checked right now and it went up to $109 USD! And it’s an ā€œolder modelā€ too. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Either way, for me it was worth the investment. Since it’s a chest strap, I feel it’s a bit more accurate reading. They have since updated the MyZone app too so that helps keep users engaged. :slightly_smiling_face:

It’s even more than that here, it’s Ā£121 GBP min. Mmm, also looking into Garmin…

Thanks for your insight. Can I ask if you follow a lifting guide/programme? I’m looking to tighter up my regime and workouts without getting a PT due to not having the cash at the mo. I also don’t want to join an app or online programme. Just wondered what type of regime and plan you had. Only because I think you’re a bad ass.

Garmin is a good brand and I think you’d get a good reading with their heart rate chest straps. I’ve seen good reviews.

I am far from bad ass but thank you. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I don’t follow any type of program. I just go to a CrossFit gym. I have been really stringent with my money so that I could afford it. Eliminating and being sober from alcohol has also helped being that I don’t spend money on that anymore.

I just gravitated to CrossFit because the workouts are different every single time, you get a great workout in an hour, and the gym plans the workouts for the day. I already have a lot to manage in my life and this makes my life significantly easier (and healthier obviously!) which is why I invest in it.

Yesterday I had an appointment at a specialist to check thyroid. No visible damages, knots, no sign of hashimoto!
He said it looks not the super strongest, so we will see what the blood results will show and if a little medication might be helpful. I had a very good chat with him about difficulty to loose weight, sports, physiologics. And he was very pro me, what I am doing and so on. If he cannot help me with this, he will send me to another specialist for metabolics.

EATING I agreed with my mum to eat separately for lunch. I want to go more along my body. A second breakfast went always fine and I and my body like boring meals sometimes. Meals without a name. Lol. At least we can also sit together for lunch if timeslot fits.

I will do my late dinner as low carb high protein and fat version. Always worked best for me, leaves me satisfied and fits to my regular workout times, in the evening.

Love you guys, keep going :flexed_biceps:t2:

:backhand_index_pointing_up:t3: This sounds interesting! I hear pilates is hard. I can’t imagine yogilatis. I’m assuming it’s a hybrid of yoga and pilates.

Great to hear that there are no signs of damage or hashimoto! That sounds scary. :fearful: Hopefully the blood test will give you more answers for treatment options. :crossed_fingers:t3:

I love this. :face_holding_back_tears:
