Dec 16 workout completed
Struggled with my weight today :unamused:
Did back, biceps, and some deadlifts to practice

Ya just struggled thru my workout today… but at least i showed up!

Awe thank u my friend. I have to let go of the perfectionist thinking when it comes to the gym. I expect every workout to be a good one. But honestly our bodies dont work like that lol today is one of those days. Tomorrow may be better :slight_smile:

You got that right…I’m working on changing that thinking myself… seeing your posts have given me the push I needed to push myself through and do something today. Just finished a 1.5 hr 5.0 speed walk on my walking pad…thank you!

Sorry your mind is prancing around the negative bs. You are getting back to a routine and you will start feeling the rush from the endorphins soon.
This time of year it’s hard cause of the holidays and the cold weather also gives me the munchies (like eating more is a comforting way to deal with the miserable weather).

December 16th 2024 (been on a bit of a break for some time and had to push myself out again … so very grateful that I did… hope I can keep going as I know this is the key to healing)

1.5 hour walking pad walk at 5.0 speed and 1st incline setting
1 hour upper body weight session
21000 steps

So im definitly going to have to increase my daily calories. I discovered that my BMR is 1893. And here i was being in a deficit of 1800 cal a day. Thats too little. No wonder i feel fatigued during my workouts and irritable at night. It just dawned on me that i need to be consuming more. Which is fine by me bcuz i like my food :rofl: So i think im going to strive for 2000 calories and see how i feel. Thats me working out 4-5 x a week. Hoping for a better workout tomorrow :slight_smile:

I’m glad you looked into that and are adjusting accordingly. You do need the proper nutrition and food to do a proper work out or else you start hurting your muscles and body.

Hope you start feeling the energy and see the results from your hard work :people_hugging:
