Rest day yesterday,just a bit of walking after meals​:man_walking:

Push day today,the usual 3 chest,3 shoulders and 2 triceps exercises,nice workout,a bit tough to begin but got going eventually,Happy monday all!! :flexed_biceps:t2::+1:t2:

Full body workout today
3 sets of 5 upper body exercises
3 sets of 4 leg exercises
3 sets of 3 core exercises

Today’s workout was:

  • warm up
  • cat cow 10 reps
  • bird dog 3 x 12 reps
  • dead bug 3 x 12 reps
    kettlebell part (8kg)
  • box squat 3 x 10 reps
  • deadlift 3 x 10 reps
  • single arm row 3 x 8 reps each side
  • swings 3 x 10 reps
  • cool down

First time with a 8kg kettlebell, the last time I was able to lift this one was 2 years ago. Today was my first day, again. And it made me emotional guys. I was cheering myself and crying afterwards.
I’m working out constantly 2x/week, except when I’m on my period, so my last workout was one week ago. Nevertheless I was able to increase muscle and the weight of my kettlebell.
Feels good to get strong. And it helps with my constant “nagging voice” that only knows how my body looks and how much fat I’ve gained. I focus on becoming the strongest version of me, and it feels awesome :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

  • Monday: shoulder strength and mobility routine, around 6 hours at the hot spring, around 6 rounds of Sauna (had the hottest sauna infusion ever, amazing, a bit scarry but ultra relaxing - is it infusion? Deepl says so lol)

  • Tuesday: shoulder strength and mobility routine
    Body balance class extended 80 minutes
    Solid 2000 meter swim, easy gliding, long strech!

I found some shoulder sequence that immediately eased my shoulder pain (suddenly the other one was loud!) Found it on yoga easy, it is by a doctor and at the same time heals and strengthens. Works! My “Rotatorenmanschette” :joy: needs some care to let me keep on flying in the water!

And, again, I loved how I look in the big mirror of the gym during bodybalance class. Tall, strong, elegant movements.

The lunges were mixed grip w/ DBs (1 arm overhead/1 front rack)

Good few days. Monday was a decent weights session. Tues did and emom plus some extra burpees while the kids trained. Today I did a walk-run with the dog in my continuing endeavor to get back to injury free running

You are all crushing it. I’m transitioning into Garmin and from Fitbit so I don’t have my tech in place.

Tonight I have body pump class then body attack afterwards/or bootcamp.

I fell off my workout routine. I havent worked out since saturday and im feeling sluggish. Im posting for accountability to say i am running or lifting tonight!

This week has been tough. I just feel so weak (probably due to that time of the month). But im still here, still showing up!!
Did:

  • 20min treadmill walk for warm-up
  • leg day (lighter weight but higher reps)
  • 12min stationary bike

Time to get ready for work now then off I go to get all them steps in.

Yesterday I got in early to work and got a little weights session in.

Then Yesterday at work it was a big one. Physically one of the most demanding days I’ve had, a year ago I wouldn’t have handled it well. My back problem is still there but through careful, consistent weight training (and losing some kgs) i can still perform when needed.

I’ll stretch today, maybe a light bike, then back to work tonight.

How are you going? Did you get that run/lift in?

Back to consistent 3/4 days per week training for the past month and feeling really good. Still have this bursitis issue with my shoulder but working with that
